Shopping can be good for your heart! Did you know that a 150 pound woman burns 684 calories in two hours of shopping? Burn some calories and support the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement by participating in Macy’s Shop For A Cause Day on Saturday, Sept. 20. In appreciation of your $5 donation to the AHA, you will receive a shopping pass good for 10 to 20 percent off most purchases at Macy’s that day. Macy’s is supporting its favorite charities by also donating proceeds from Shop For A Cause passes sold in-store. Click here to make your donation online, and receive your savings pass in advance.

July Start! Kick Off

In July we hosted our Annual Start! Heart Walk Kick Off at Dargans Pub & Restaurant in Santa Barbara. With a record breaking attendance, our team captains, top walkers and sponsors had a great time meeting each other, participating in some Heart Trivia and brainstorming ways to bring in the funds for our cause. Special thanks to the Heart Walk Planning Committee for putting this event together!
